Gordon Carpenter, CFP® Gordon Carpenter is the founder of Centennial Investment Advisors Corporation (CIA), a fee-based Registered Investment Advisory Firm specializing in the implementation of personal financial plans and investment management. The mission CIA is behavioral change in financial management. “In the twenty-first century, personal finance is evolving from the age of entitlement to the age of self-reliance. The public deserves to be provided with information and solutions, not just sold products." To Gordon this means that his clients should be equipped to understand and manage these challenges. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association, FPA, and rigorously implements planning assignments with a high level of ethics and fiduciary responsibility; within a framework of practice standards. Gordon’s work entails planning, implementing and continuously monitoring the client’s situation against a background of changing financial markets, laws and regulations. He enlists the support of the clients’ other advisors, or recommends advisors where appropriate, to coordinate the plan and holds his clients accountable for the implementation. These solutions often incorporate all or a portion of cash management, risk analysis, investment management, retirement planning, estate planning and business continuation. Gordon is a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner, a Registered Investment Advisor with the State of Colorado and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of San Francisco. He is a registered representative with a Series 7 license to sell stocks, bonds and mutual funds and he is also licensed to sell life, health and long term care insurance in the State of Colorado.
